My Story...

​   My Name Is Ava,I have been married  for 7yrs to my awesome husband & bestfriend that currently serves our Country in the United States Army. We have 3 children! I am originally from Michigan but currently live in Hawai'i.

   My goal is to capture AMAZING images that will last your family a lifetime without breaking the bank! Everyone deserves to have those specials memories and not worry about having to move bills around just to afford photos. My pricing is based off of a basic Military pay scale, so its affordable for everyone regardless of if your military or not.  

  As you can probably tell from my gallery, I Love Black & White photography! It captures such an unique view & it's so timeless! Don't get me wrong, color is beautiful but there's nothing like Black & White! This quote sum's it all up:

  Some get confused with the name of my Business so let me explain. My parents had intentions of naming me "Daisy Mae",with it being so unique I figured it was an excellent name as well as Daisy is my Great Aunts Name & Mae is From my Paternal Grandmothers Name. The Watermark (LOGO) has Just as much meaning behind it,When I was little my Maternal Grandmother always had a vase full of beautiful Peacock feathers that no one was allowed to touch,so now everytime I see a peacock or its feathers it reminds me of her!

     I currently Live in Hawaii & I must say im enjoying the awesome year round sunshine! My Journey with Photography Started about 2years ago in Northern New York. When my family would have photos done it was in a plain jane studio setting & it was getting old to say the least. I started to venture out in my backyard with my little ones & found my Passion for Photoraphy. As my family traveled,my passion has grown. Each Duty station has something new & original to offer.
